ya, my blog has been really slow lately. don't know what to blog, not much things to blog. i've been updating on twitter more often which automatically update my fb status as well.

anyway, in points...

#1 - i've been seeing a lot of girls wearing caged heels nowadays and it looks really awesome with long leggings. should i get one? shoud i not? knowing myself... i think i will when i saw a really beautiful one.. hahaa...

#2 - there's this one day two weeks ago while boarding the train, it was pack and i was standing near the door, saw a little school boy trying to get in but can't. I move a little to make space for him to come in, he jump in. After the door closes, he look up at me and said thank you. so sweet!!

#3 - i think i wanna get a pda phone next so i can twitter wherever i go. haha .. but that will be a long wait ... need to invest on my teeth first.

#4 - i've been waiting for a parcel since monday and got a little bit impatient that i have not receive it yet till today! still waiting ..... please send in by today... !!!!

#5 - the most frustrating things while shopping for clothes during sales - the long queue at the fitting room.

#6 - a friend coming to sg next friday !! can't wait to see him, haven't been seeing him for almost a year !

#7 - why the title for this post? coz i don't know what title to put..

boring week

so it's friday. seriously i don't know what to blog ... this week was pretty uninteresting except for an irritating fact that a guy trying to make stupid jokes everytime i see him in the morning which i find it not very funny and i tend to roll my eyes after that.

Short Blog

i've been really neglecting my blog coz i don't feel like blogging. anyway, here's a short one.

#1 - been trying to upload pictures to my blog and blog about it last night but it failed several times so decide to give up and played bejeweled blitz instead. it's really addictive!

#2 - i wrote a very long-full-of-nonsense email to a friend few days ago, still waiting for her reply coz she's overseas now.

#3 - a friend called last night but didn't manage to answer coz i've totally knock out.

we had a hard time to get her on the white cloth but when we gave up trying, she came to it by herself and took the chance to snap as many photo as we can. haha...

i was reading this "Top 10 Errors in English that aren't Errors" and finds it very interesting with this point.

None: singular or plural?
Some people insist that since “none” is derived from “no one” it should always be singular: “none of us is having dessert.” However, in standard usage, the word is most often treated as a plural. “None of us are having dessert” is perfectly fine. I spent many days debating this point with my Ancient Greek tutor via email quotations of its use as a plural (my tutor believed it to be singular only). Neither of us could convince the other but I firmly stand by my belief that it can be used as both plural and singular.

ok, it's mondayanditsanormaldayatwork. last weekend was busy though, running around to settle some stuffs. before going to the bank, i went to buy a new touch and go card at this T&G hub at the NS expressway entering skudai. my house to the highway - 5 minutes, had the card purchased and i took 30 minutes to drive home coz i miss the u-turn when i exit at skudai. :( so, i have to drive all the way through skudai, pass by town and back home. -___-

my perfume buddy, william, asked me to go and try the new Elizabeth Arden Pretty. yesterday i tried it, honestly, it's normal. nothing special. normal sweet girly smell. oh, i called him perfume buddy coz he's the only friend i have that invest in perfume heavily and he's like a walking perfume bottle (shape: dkny apple series...hahaha).

well, i love perfumes but doesn't really know the "proper correct way"to use it and enhance the smell. some says start spraying from the back of your knee first and move upwards, some says spray on collar bones. once, we were at parkson gurney and sembang with this dkny salesgirl for almost an hour just to talk and try on perfumes. then she suddenly hand us a bottle of coffee beans and said should sniff it before smelling another perfume to get rid of the previous smell. it really does works! in the end ... this friend hor, tempted me to buy the dkny woman and i have to eat maggie mee for a month! (hahaha... ) anyway, the bottle shape of the dkny man and woman were designed in a way that represents the ex-world trade centre. i've finished using and thrown it away already...

i don't like the dkny apple series coz it will smell funny on me after a period of time. i don't like perfume which carries very sweet strong smell which anna sui and escada always features and i damn turn off with powdery perfume smell. i've tried on Lacome Miracle sample bottle as well, i love it! but then when i wanted to get that one, i ended up getting Gucci Envy me.

my next target is Sean John Unforgivable Man, dont think i'm crazy. I really love that smell and i told my friend i don't mind using it on myself. They just launch the Sean John Unforgivable woman last Christmas but it carries powdery smell. oh, and i love EDP perfume rather than EDT but there are always exception like body shop morrocan rose and oceanus.

anyway, perfume is always a never ending story ...

random for the week

i knew him as a fine man. sturdy, stable, smart but reserve. we're not friends but more of an acquaintance. i knew he's not simple as he potrayed to be but the impression he left, it's enough to convince you that he's approachable. indeed he is. agreeing and accomodating your requests though sometimes it seems absurb. his shoutout in fb, sometimes bring a hint of humour, sometimes it makes you think. we never had casual talk not even a serious one, sometimes when certain topic arise, we shared our thoughts. that's all.

i'm surprised when i saw him smokes one day, since when? and became heavier day by day. those impression has slowly faded, i no longer thinks he's the person he used to be.i'm not against smokers, it just that the thoughts and impression of him has changed. i rasionalise, it could be the stress. i'm not concern, i felt it's a pity. sometimes i've forgotten he's there, the impression of a fine man, felt like it has never been there.

this week has been quite a boring and busy week. what else to talk other than work work work? oh, last weekend i watched x-men! it's soo cool !

Happy Labour's Day!

alright, so i'm gonna blog briefly about Melbourne i've visited few years ago during my student exchange. i've visited melbourne twice during my stay in aussie, the first time was with a group of friends during autumn and another time with my gor and a friend to watch michael w. smith concert during winter.


i really like melbourne. it's like a kind of city that you can expect little surprise out of every corner, interesting, humorous and surprising. unlike sydney bustling with traffics, people, hmmm..more congested with varieties of uncertainties, melbourne seems more relax and comfortable.

me, yuney and gor waiting for the tram. haha, we bought the same tshirt at Ruben Morgan concert in our Canberra Church. my tshirt actually shrink :( coz i don't know it's cotton and i throw it into the dryer. sad. melbourne is so plentiful of shopping places and we went to this street where they have really cheap branded clothes from the factory.

it's really crazy that we really can walk during those days, saw this shop filled with oranges on our way to St'Kilda beach.

passed Queen Victoria Market, i think everyone should know about this when they visit Melbourne. just a market.
