Why I got into ...

photography. Before I even started to owned a SLR, I love to take pictures, well, not in a professional ways with all the settings. It's just Auto mode with flash or without flash, as long there's a decent picture. What get me into this was a friend's friend of mine in Australia, a pro photographer as well, he patiently explain all the functions in my camera, I used to owned Fuji Finepix F700 compact cam, where there is P, S, A, M function as well. Of course, you can't do much with a compact camera. After that, I'm hooked with photography.

I'm very much of a picture person. I love looking at pictures compared to words... I would always look at the pictures first before reading. Pictures tell a thousand words. :) Of course, I'm still learning now... I guess now is not much of a skill, coz everyone can take picture as everything is so easy and convinient. I guess is more of creativity now.

So, to fill up time as well to gain some skill, I've joined PSS and attended some course. Interesting and eyes opening...

Well, let's not get too lenghty ... Last saturday, a girl from my course ask me out to take some photos at East Coast Park and also to teach her some panning techniques. Thank God for the sun again but I think we went a bit too late, I don't like the sun after 10am.

Gosh !

Busy busy busy is the word to describe how I am and I'm taking a few minutes off to breath and blog here. My eyes seems like it's gonna close down and there are so MANY things for me to finish up - be at work or at home before I left for Penang next week !!

Year end is coming and there are many things to tie up !! Btw, for the next post, if I'm free, I'll post up some pictures I took last saturday.

2008 is running the last quarter of the year !! That's crazily fast !! This year has been a lot of transition for me, after settling here down south, there are more things I wish to do and wanted to do, just to fill up the time and acquire some skills or doing something meningful. Yea, I'm a very ambitious person but I lack of discipline in achieving it. Time for life editing !

I would say 2008 has been swift, no big achievement, except from getting out from the crap workplace. The transition from the year 2008 and 2009, wouldn't make much of a changes. I'm planning to use this "stress-less" period to do the things that I wish to do all along and also saving up money to fulfill my dream !

Resolution is not my thing. I think I'm spontaneous and do whatever I feel I can achieve within that period. 2009 - it may be just another normal year for me.

Remember last week I went home and took some pictures of my god sister and cousins. As I was looking a my god sister's school bag, I saw this photo sticker or photo card hanging from her bag which can be taken at photo booth in shopping centre and you could design it whatever you want. I use to love it too when I'm in school like her. -_- But, it's not cheap. A piece of card about the size of poker card can easily cost RM10 or more. I told her I could design almost the same time as what she printed out ....for free. haha..and she ask me to prove it !!

The Singapore Nautical Run

Sorry for the late update !!! Yea.. I'm slow and busy as well. haha... Anyway, there are a lot of pictures I want to post up !! Well, for now, I'll just post up this Singapore Nautical Run event pictures first !! Hmmm... this was held last Friday and those who participant need not go to work after the event. muaahahahaha..such good opportunity, how can I miss out...

Yea, actually I went there not to run, I went there just to take pictures.. haha... so, biasalah..I join the non-competitive category...so only run (I actually walk lah..) 1.6 km...... Hmmm..and the morning sun is shining brightly !! I love it !! Oh yea...we started at 7.30am..

After the opening ceremony... this was the first time event organize by Maritime Port Authority (MPA)... whatever lah.... the important thing is get a half day off and some goodie bags...haha...

How I wish for another day of hoildayyyy !! Goshh.. I'm so lazy.

Yesterday I met up with my god brother for dinner and "again"... we had our dinner at Popeye.... -_- Oh well, I'm a very cincai person so anything will do. :P Don't know why I'm a very ice-cream person recently, so we had Gelato Ice Cream after dinner ... yum yum....it's just outside popeye... I had Chocolate and green tea while my god brother had strawberry ...erm..something and banana chocolate.

While eating he actually told me a joke which I find it very funny, I guess I laugh out too loud that the people around us thought we're a bit too extreme. Maybe it's the joke combined with his expression ... and made it extremely funny....

He made this joke, saying, if there is a sweet talk guy ask you:

Situation one
Guy: Are you tired?
Girl: yes
Guy: Oh, I know why... it's because you have been running through my mind.
(At first I don't get this joke coz I'm not concerntrating until he said the second one)

Situation two
Guy: Are you hurt?
Girl: Yes
Guy: Oh, it must because you fall from heaven.

Situation three
Guy: Are you hurt?
Girl: No
Guy: Thank God I caught you in time when you fall from heaven.

I know it's not very funny here but imagine there's really a guy come and tell you this sort of nonsense... I will die from laughing !
